Survivor Cagayan Episode 2 Coverage

Cops-R-Us

With the downfall of my first choice, Garrett, Spencer is now at the bottom of a three woman alliance. The morale of the Brains tribe is slowly being dwindling away – from J’tia losing the tribe challenges & survivor-cagayan-jtia-278-156-most-hatedJ’tia throwing ALL the rice in the fire. Oh wait, it is J’tia who is the plague within the tribe! With numbers rapidly dropping, Spencer needs to make a plan to wiggle his way back into an alliance.

Back at Aparri, sleepless Tony sat at the fire to maintain it throughout the night. While rustling around, fellow cop, Sarah decided to chat it up with Tony. After lying about his career, Tony finally reveals to Sarah that he in fact, is a cop. Together they solidify an alliance & Tony begins to tell Sarah that Lindsey’s & Cliff’s motives are to get Sarah voted out. God damn, Tony! THE LIES BEGIN! Tony “agrees” on his badge to stick together, when in fact Tony says, “My badge means nothing out here on the island.”

As much as Tony tried to keep the fire going, a vicious storm blew in during the night. I am so glad that they put these castaways back out in the elements! Last season during Blood Vs Water, I don’t think it rained once for the entire 39 days spent on the island. It sucks that the castaways are suffering, but its awesome TV.

At the Solana camp all of the Beauty members are breaking down from the rain. Jefra literally is in tears saying “This is a Survivor nightmare!” All the men of the tribe are trying their best to fortify the camp but this rain is severely unforgiving. LJ took advantage of this opportunity & went out looking for the hidden immunity idol – the Survivor gods must have been in his favor because he found the idol! Now LJ’s leadership & hidden immunity give him an ENORMOUS amount of power in this game.Cops-R-Us

Once the storm subsided, we got the best part of the castaways’ day – TREE MAIL!

Luzon realized that they seriously need to pull out a win & before the challenge the tribe must have practiced all morning to ensure somewhat of an advantage.

Challenge – Reward & Immunity

Mazed & Confused

One player retrieves water with a bucket and toss to other players until another bucket in a teeter-totter. Once that bucket is full, it will release a ball. Two players should put the ball in the center of a spinning vertical maze, and use two ropes to spin the maze until the ball is out of it. First two tribes to finish, wins immunity and reward.
Reward: Comfort & Shelter, in the form of a tarp, blankets, pillows, mosquito net and hammock (1st place). Shelter, in the form of a tarp (2nd place).
Winners (in order of finish): Aparri & Luzon

Honestly I don’t know how Solana, the Beauty tribe lost their lead. As usual J’tia SUCKED at the challenge, cracked under pressure & freaked out. J’tia alone has RUINED my predictions of this entire season, I really wanted Luzon to get far! Luckily Spencer & Kass pulled their shit together & DOMINATED the maze portion of the challenge, blowing Solana out of the water.

Suffering their first lost, Solana now had to vote out their own. On day one Brice, Jeremiah, & Morgan aligned themselves saying “Us country folk have to stick together.” LJ, Jerfa, & Alexis have been trying all day to convince Jeremiah to come with them. PAUSE – Jeremiah keeps making promises with everyone on this freakin’ island. DUDE, Survivor 101 – DON’T DO THAT! Brice knew his tribe mates were gunning for him & he pleaded to Jeremiah to just vote Alexis.

DOTDOTDOTAt tribal, mind you, this is the third tribal council, all mayhem erupted! Because Jeremiah told LJ, Jefra & Alexis the plan that Brice & Morgan came up with. To play it safe the majority alliance casted two votes for Brice & Morgan, while Brice & Morgan casted two votes for Alexis. They weren’t sure if Brice had a hidden immunity idol, so they split the votes to force a three way tie – this would guarantee that Brice & Morgan could not vote again as well resulting in the elimination of Brice. Brice was going down swinging leaving one of the funniest moments in Survivor history – “DOT DOT DOT. MMHMMMM?!”

Honestly, Brice was such a funny castaway & if he survived a little longer, his social game would have been dangerous.
